Graduated from the University of Wales, Bangor (UK) with a Bachelor (Hons) in Entrepreneurship and Management.

Mario also holds a diploma in Business Admin and Marketing with Staffordshire University. An avid theatre-goer with strong interest in the arts, Mario had also received training from La-Salle, College of the Arts and Trinity College of London.

Starting his career in the logistic and freight forwarding industry, Mario has worked with big names like DHL, DFDS Singapore and BP. Being a people-person who loves human interaction, he moved on to the Staffing and Recruitment industry in 2006/07. He conducted mass recruitment drives for major banks like DBS and Amex, and advanced from general placement to executive recruitment for the Banking and Finance industry, handling high profile companies and clients.

The entrepreneurial itch hit him in 2008 and armed with wide networks in the financial, logistics and entertainment industries, he started his first company with two partners, specializing in talent and events management. They count among their successes, projects with production houses like Oak 3 Film, China Taishan’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) launch; Singapore F1 and many others, including private events and photoshoots for individuals. In 2009, the trio started their second company, Spearing Search Consultancy, an Executive Search firm situated in One Fullerton, Singapore, providing the best recruitment services to various SME and MNC companies. Their mission however, has always stayed the same: to provide a definitive answer to their clients’ needs.

Graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology with Bachelor of Business Management, majoring in Marketing, with Distinction in Organizational Behavior, Marketing Principles, Market Research, Accounting, Macroeconomics and Employment Relations. He started his career in a newly born distribution company, facilitating intensively in business development. Consequently he developed strong analytical skills in understanding punter needs.

Thereafter, he entered the Recruitment Industry, advancing from a staffing consultant dealing with local placement to his current portfolio as a recruitment specialist handling international placement for top executives in various industries.
